From the Hearts of Survivors
Dr. Tiffany D. Thompson is an oncology-trained nurse leader, healthcare consultant, and breast cancer survivor. With a passion for patient advocacy, healthcare quality, and leadership excellence, she is deeply committed to improving the experiences of patients navigating cancer and other serious illnesses, and the healthcare providers who care for them—from the bedside to the boardroom. She recently published her first book, Held: Faith, Medicine, and a Life Rewritten by Cancer, a raw and deeply personal memoir, guide for patients, and call to action for clinicians. Dr. Thompson earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio, and is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) with the National Association for Healthcare Quality. She also holds credentials as a certified coach and public speaker with the John Maxwell Team. Drawing from both professional expertise and personal experience, she now consults with hospitals, mentors cancer patients, and speaks across the country on topics of survivorship, leadership, resiliency, and faith.
