Today, members of our club were honored to represent our club and attend the Leadership Breakfast for Scouting America. President Matt, Larry, Tina, Kerrie, Vivette, Ted, and Brenda were all in attendance.
It’s always an inspiring event, with the highlight being hearing firsthand how scouting truly impacts the lives of young people. We had the pleasure of sitting with Liam and his mother, and enjoyed such a meaningful and fun conversation with them both.
Scouting helps build confidence, leadership, and character in kids—teaching them responsibility, service to others, and a strong sense of community. The Scout Oath says it best: to do their duty, help other people at all times, and keep themselves physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight. It’s a powerful foundation that stays with them for life.
