Violence Free Futures works to end family, relationship, and sexual violence and its impact in Greene County through prevention, intervention, collaborative community programs, and safe housing.  The agency has grown to provide a full slate of holistic and comprehensive services include a 24-hour crisis hotline, children and youth services, community advocacy, counseling, education, training, and safe housing. 

Justin Blevens will discuss an overview of school finance, how it works, nuances that differ from private industry, budget, and our Future-Ready Facilities Plan.

Brandon Ragland Dayton Ballet Artistic Director

Brandon Ragland received early training in Birmingham, AL, and graduated from Butler University with a B.S. in Dance-Arts Administration. After graduation, he joined the Alabama Ballet, performing numerous classical and neoclassical works by choreographers such as Roger Van Fleteren, George Balanchine, Christopher Bruce, and Septime Webre. He joined the Louisville Ballet in 2010, where he spent 13 years as a leading artist and performed featured roles in classical, neoclassical, and contemporary works by choreographers such as Alun Jones, George Balanchine, Adam Hougland, Val Caniparoli, Ma Cong, Lucas Jervies, Stanton Welch, Ronald Hynd, and Tim Harbour.

GEM Project Dayton is dedicated to fighting suicide in the Dayton area. GEM stands for Goal: Everyone Matters, and their current focus is to curb youth suicide through peer-to-peer education and support.

Leigh Ann Fulford is the director and founder.  She will tell us about the contest for students to produce mental health and suicide prevention artwork.

Robin Mann has been a certified Master Gardener Volunteer since 2016 and is the current Vice President of the Greater Montgomery County Master Gardener Association. Since 2013 she has been filling her Kettering home garden with thousands of plants and was on the 2025 Garden Gems tour. She has a passion for native plants and contributing to the food web for the wildlife that visits. She is the Treasurer of the American Conifer Society and member of the Miami Valley Hosta Society.

Gina Smith writes romance with sass and shenanigans as Rochelle Bradley, an award-winning, Amazon best-selling author known for her heartfelt storytelling and touch of humor. Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, she grew up with a deep appreciation for art, nature, and the power of a good story. A proud Bearcat and Buckeye, she is also an interior decorator and fluent in the fine art of sarcasm. In 2023, she was invited to a Rotary meeting and loved the camaraderie, laughter, and the goal to end polio. She is now the vice president of the Centerville Club. Dr. Tiffany D. Thompson is an oncology-trained nurse leader, healthcare consultant, and breast cancer survivor. With a passion for patient advocacy, healthcare quality, and leadership excellence, she is deeply committed to improving the experiences of patients navigating cancer and other serious illnesses, and the healthcare providers who care for them—from the bedside to the boardroom. She recently published her first book, Held: Faith, Medicine, and a Life Rewritten by Cancer, a raw and deeply personal memoir, guide for patients, and call to action for clinicians. Dr. Thompson earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio, and is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) with the National Association for Healthcare Quality. She also holds credentials as a certified coach and public speaker with the John Maxwell Team. Drawing from both professional expertise and personal experience, she now consults with hospitals, mentors cancer patients, and speaks across the country on topics of survivorship, leadership, resiliency, and faith.
