I knew Erma Bombeck. My parents met Bill and Erma at UD and they became life-long friends. Took ski trips together etc. One time my mom and a few other women went to a taping of The Tonight Show in LA where Erma was one of Jay Leno’s guests. Mom got to meet him and a group photo was taken.
When I was a kid, my grandmother told me that we were related to Zachary Taylor, our 12th president. Not sure if it was on her side or my grandfather’s side of the family.
Also, to clarify, I have not yet taught Sophia, Mer & Al how to play poker. She was thanking me in advance the other day.
