A quick minute to catch up with some of our members and former members.
From former Rotarian June Smith (she hosted Sophia as well):

"I do so enjoy the Rotary News....
Last week I received a package for Sofia from City of Kettering Schools, which had the commencement program inside.
Sofia was a Suma Cum Laude Scholar in the graduating class of 2020.

The odd thing is they forgot to list her in the list of graduates,  but I thought it might be interesting for everyone to know she was Suma Cum Laude"

Note to June - Why not come visit us soon?
Note to members - it would be lovely to send congrats to Sophia!

New Members Joining soon!

Dan & Richia Stevens on November 11th. Their new grandson is keeping them busy until then! We can't think of a better reason to delay it. Mel Haines is their sponsor.

Dona Wiedmann the violinist from the DPO just reached out for an application. We look forward to seeing her soon. Bill Lindahl is her sponsor.

Aaron Graybill had filled out an application but must postpone his joining until 2021 due to work obligations. We hope to see him soon.

Who do you know that would like to hear great speakers, meet new friends and be an active part of our community? Invite them - our membership is a better value than ever and is much more flexible for attending.

"I am doing well. I am being helped tremendously. The rehabilitation institute of Ohio, where I am at, is working on those with traumatic brain injuries to try and Help them recover and get back to as much strength and as possible. Because of Covid, I am restricted on the number of individuals who can visit being only one other a day besides Debbie. I can however have a Number of calls to talk with people. The only restriction there is the times that they call since I have at least 3 1/2 hours a day of various therapies. I would enjoy having calls with others, it can be set up by emailing or messaging me that they are available and I can give them opportune times to have a period of conversation. Thanks for the concern your prayers are appreciated I know in the speech therapy sessions the last couple of days that my memory is quite Swiss cheese. There are a bunch of holes specifically related to short-term memory. Andy"

"Brenda, sorry I missed today’s meeting. I have been in a rehabilitation facility for the last couple of weeks. Back a couple weeks ago I had fun Sunday which landed me in Miami Valley Hospital. Now I am the rehabilitation institute of Ohio near MVH. I am doing better and working out a lot of things to improve my strength and also my memory. If you remember the old Quantum Leap shows, my memory is definitely Swiss cheese. I expect to be back at least watching the meetings and taking notes and doing the bulletin by if not next week the Following week. If you have questions or would like to talk just send me a message and we can go over what has been going on. Miss you all, Andy"

See you tomorrow!
