What a fun day with the residents of Birchwood Manor. Rotarians June Smith, Bob Walsh and Bill and Kathy Lindahl provided a poffertjes party this afternoon. What is a poffertjes you ask? It's a Dutch treat often served at fairs and on the streets. Mini yeast and buckwheat pancakes , slathered with butter and a generous dose of powdered sugar. Add some special toppings and you've got a yummy treat! Good news! YOU can try them at Holiday at Home at the Rotary booth on Labor day weekend!
