Leadership Award - Kira Osowsiki - Archbishop Alter High School

The Kettering Rotary Club is proud to announce the 2012 Student Leadership Award winners are Kira Osowski from Archbishop Alter High School and Saleh Hindi from Fairmont High School. The Kettering Rotary Club presents this award annually to students who are currently in their junior year and have demonstrated leadership qualities both academically and socially. Each recipient receives a $500 cash award and the opportunity to attend the District RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Award) program. This renowned Rotary program emphasizes leadership, citizenship, and personal growth, and aims to demonstrate Rotary's respect and concern for youth; provide an effective training experience for youth and potential leaders; encourage leadership of youth by youth; and recognize young people who are rendering service to their communities.
Ms. Osowski is involved in dance, theatre, and cheerleading as well as Student Council and serves as a student ambassador for Archbishop Alter. Mr. Hindi is involved in Academia team, Class Council and Model UN and serves as vice president of Fairmont High School's Latin Club.
