The amazing thing about being a part of Rotary is that our love and outreach can reach around the globe and touch lives. Today we received an amazing gift from Malawi, where in 2022 we partnered with other Rotary Clubs in our Rotary District 6670. This gift is an original painting by Malawian artist Samuel Banda. Samuel lost both of his hands by amputation after he fell into a fire during an epileptic seizure. He has learned to be self sufficient and even paint incredibly moving paintings about life in Malawi. This painting is from a photo taken on the day the community received their LifePump. Our club is incredibly honored that we have been gifted such a significant reminder that our help in bring safe water to the village has transformed lives and gives hope for generations.
