Tree Risk -- "How do you know when your tree may fail?"

Mark holds nineteen different certifications, qualifications, accreditations, and licensures in the fields of arboriculture and horticulture. Most notably, he is a Registered Consulting Arborist, Board Certified Master Arborist, and a Certified Professional Horticulturist with over forty-five years of experience.

He provides investigations, reports, and testimony in matters related to tree condition, maintenance, removal and agricultural as well as horticultural matters. His expertise includes the management of nursery, arboricultural, agricultural operations, landscaping operations, pesticide use, crop and tree injuries due to biotic and abiotic conditions, appraisals of damaged crops, trees, and plants, tree failures due to biotic and abiotic conditions, and many agricultural, arboricultural, and horticultural issues. Mark is a member of thirty-two industry organizations, including the American Society of Consulting Arborists, Chartered Institute of Horticulture, International Dendrology Society, American Phytopathological Society, and the OSHA Small Business Advocacy Review Panel for Tree Care Industry Rules. He has been a court-qualified expert in his field in Ohio, Michigan, New Jersey, Washington, California, and U.S. Bankruptcy Court.

Mark holds degrees from The Ohio State University. He is a Board-Certified Master Arborist by the International Society of Arboriculture and is a Tree Risk Assessment Qualified Arborist. He designated a Master Nursery Technician by the Ohio Nursery & Landscape Association. He also holds MArborA status by the United Kingdom’s Arboricultural Association. His professional designations and licenses include those issued by multiple states, as well as the American Society of Horticultural Science, and the American Society of Consulting Arborists.
