Enemy Aircraft at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base

Rob Young is the historian at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base where he has served for 25 years.  He also served as the Air Force Materiel Command reserve historical officer for 18 years and retired as a lieutenant colonel.  The National Air and Space Intelligence Center is the Department of Defense’s primary source for foreign air and space threat analysis.  Most Daytonians are not aware that foreign aircraft have been brought to the base beginning in World War I.  Analyzing such equipment is called foreign materiel exploitation.  Rob will give us a look into this fascinating work.
