21 Jan. 2026 Alzheimer's Disease presentation Cedric D. Howard Jan. 21, 2026 Cedric D. Howard is a lifelong Daytonian and a proud graduate of Dayton Public Schools and Patterson Co-op High School. He earned his degree in Business Management from Bowling Green State University and returned home to build a successful career across finance, insurance, government, and manufacturing. Cedric currently serves as Senior Community Relations Business Manager with Oak Street Health and is the owner of Tru-Blu Transport, a non-medical transportation company. Deeply committed to service, Cedric is active on numerous community boards, including Miami Valley Crime Stoppers, Preservation Dayton, Wesley Dayton, and the Miami Valley Alzheimer’s Association Diversity Council. An advocate for the Alzheimer’s Association, Cedric founded the Making Memories Golf Outing to honor loved ones lost to the disease and to help fund the fight for a cure. Cedric believes that true fulfillment comes not from what we receive, but from what we give back.

04 Mar. 2026 Dr. Aaron Wilson, State Climatologist of Ohio What's Up With the Weather? Mar. 04, 2026 Our weather patterns are changing. But the changes we experience depend greatly on where we live. In this presentation, we will discuss the observed changes in temperature and precipitation over recent decades, from a global overview to local changes right here in Ohio. We will highlight the key climate-related challenges facing our rural and urban communities including water quantity and quality, impacts on farms and gardens, and community health. We will end our discussion on individual and collective ways of adapting to these changes.
