 During a meeting with The Mentoring Collaborative, we reviewed the documentation of our organization and received valuable suggestions for further improvement. I am delighted to inform you that we have been extended a special invitation by The Mentoring Collaborative for an exclusive training session. This session promises to enhance our mentoring skills and strengthen our commitment to the Kettering Rotary STRIVE program.

About The Mentoring Collaborative: The Mentoring Collaborative of Montgomery County, Ohio (MCMC) is a dedicated resource center for youth mentoring programs. Established in 2001, MCMC coordinates a network of agencies that provide mentoring programs for youth. Their vision is to connect every youth who seeks a mentor with a caring adult committed to the mentoring process, ultimately leading to more successful life outcomes for young people.

MCMC focuses on:

  • Training agency staff on the Elements of Effective Mentoring
  • Stringent background screenings for mentor "match safety"
  • Continuous training, consultation, and technical support for partner agencies
